In 1966, Nina Simone released ‘Four Women’, a song focused on the life and times of four women who represented stereotypes of African American women. In winter 2023, DJ K’ture reintroduced the song to the dance community as the lead track on his Love Enthography EP and featured the incredible Consuela Ivy “Swaylo”. Nina would be proud of the reconstruct that Swaylo has done working her magic on all leads and backgrounds. Now we are proud to introduce the remixes performed by Jordi Cabrera and DJ Oji. Jordi Cabrera offers two diverse mixes that are bassline enthused, soulful and funky. DJ Oji has reached into his Afro Jazz bag to offer a ritualistic approach to the song.
